What We Do
Design is efficiently carried out utilising industry leading software that includes Civil 3D for land development and drainage, AutoCAD for drafting, HEC HMS and HEC RAS for stormwater analysis, EPANet for water reticulation analysis and design, Beam2d and Robot for structural analysis, and the Microsoft range of products.
Structural
Structural design and site supervision for a variety of new works and additions and alterations, constructed in timber, steel, masonry and reinforced concrete. Projects are typically residential and range in value from $5,000 to $5,000,000. The design works includes, beams, bracing, suspended concrete slabs, foundations, piling and retaining walls.
Subdivisional
Full design, contract documentation and supervision services for projects ranging in size from 2 to 140 lots have been carried out. The design is typically for earthworks, drainage, roading, services, traffic reports and stormwater mitigation, requiring resource and subdivision consents from territorial and regional authorities, plus completion documentation as required by the various consents.
Stormwater
The design of stormwater reticulation has been carried out for our subdivisional projects, ranging in size from 2 to 140 lots, and for alterations to Council infrastructure. Search Consulting Limited has also specialised in Council stormwater projects.
Wastewater
The design of wastewater reticulation has been carried out for our subdivisional projects, ranging in size from 2 to 140 lots, and for alterations to Council infrastructure. Search Consulting Limited has designed pump stations for domestic use, and to serve Council reticulation. Search Consulting Limited has also designed numerous on-site wastewater treatment and effluent disposal systems.
Water Reticulation
The design of water reticulation has been carried out for our subdivisional projects, ranging in size from 2 to 140 lots. EPANet software has been used for reticulation modelling.
